Subject: Episcopal rites
I am researching a man's listings in the parish register of an
Episcopal church in Arkansas in the 1860s. He was confirmed, and then
baptized (as an adult) with in the same year, but his listing as a
communicant is undated.
Can anyone tell me in what order communion would be in relation to
confirmation and baptism, for an adult Episcopalian?

Steve:
Baptism comes first, then confirmation which allows you to now participate in
communion. Communion is the taking of the bread and wine and is part of
every Sunday service.
