I am searching for information regarding:
William H CORNELL and Sarah L HEATON. They were listed as from Moore's Hill in several records that I have.
I received their marriage certificate from the Lawenceburg courthouse and it does not list their parents.
1. Sarah was born around Nov 1838. I am trying to find more information on her. According to William's civil war papers, she was from Moore's Hill.
2. I am also looking for information on their first born son Frank Melvin b. Sept 19,1859. He does not show up on any census records when the family turns up in Minnesota in 1870. Only the second son Albert B. is listed and he was born Aug , 27,1860. According to the courthouse, they did not keep records in Dearborn Co for births until 1882. Frank may have died in infancy or before they came to Minnesota. Does anyone know how I may locate this child? Any suggestions on where to go next would be appreciated.
3.Does anyone know if there was a 1860 census for this area? I have make inquires but have recived no answers to this last question.
