Since I have access to all the computer tools I Intend to follow every
family branch as far as it takes me and still have excellent sources and
documents. I will then give copies of this data to anyone who can use it.
I have developed a system for all this.
Every family 's information stored in folders on a zip disk. with misc.
notes and items on a floppy disk for quick look ups..
For my family I will write a history including all the generations needed
to make an evenly balanced record. including collateral branches These
histories will be in book form on CD's . The family members who want more
data can use the information to create their own books.
For children without a computer the CD histories will be printed as a
book.
I hope this suggestion gives you some ideas.
