Am seeking information on a marriage between a female Burfurd (or Burford)
and a male Cahill. Their son was in the British military and had to flee to
Australia, in approximately 1815, changing his birth name to his mothers
maiden name. The line came down from him through my grandmother, born a
Burfurd, and my mother. Would appreciate help to find out any information.
