Morning Judy,

For a death record more than 50 years old, you can e mail the Oregon State
Archives at: . If you can supply the exact
date, they will send a copy of the cert for 25 cents per copy plus postage.
You could order both certificates and it will cost about a buck. Turn around
time is less than a week too. I ordered some and got them in 5 days and
there was a weekend and a holiday in there.

Another good list to get involved with is the one for Oregon State. (go to
rootsweb., click the blue mailing list tab at the top of the page, choose
USA, choose OR, and follow the instructions from there.
