Glenda,
You get the same information from the county as the state for a 1978 death.
Your best bet is to order from the county as the state has a big backlog of
requests. I have found that by ordering from the county of the event I get
my information back in about 3-4 weeks. Where the state is about six =
months.

Where do I send for a California death certificate? Is the same info
available from the county as from the state? What is the cost? This person
died 1978 in San Bernardino. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
