A FRESNO is more of a scoop that will dig ditches or other excavations
such as a cellar or basement , andcomes in several sizes and is pulled by
onr or two hurses,or large ones by even as many as 6 on a large sized , and
it will load up with dirt or gravel and can be dumped at a different spot
and can even be spread out somewhat....Robert Mander I've used them with
4 horses to dig basement s
and ditches , back in the 1930s and40s
