My g-grandfather, Ferdinand Wolf came to the US in1831. I have a copy of the ships passenger list that I received from the National Archives. He came with his parents 7 brothers and sisters, and from their ages I assume his grandfather and an uncle.

The next information I have is his marriage in Suffield CT. on May 26 1854. He had changed his name from Ferdinand to Francis.

He moved to New Britain CT. where he was a cigar maker. My grandmother, who lived to be 96, seemed to have idolized her father, and told me many stories about him which are not borne out by much of the information I have collected. I would like to find out what happened to the rest of the family.

If you are a Wolf researcher I would like to hear from you.
