Since there is so much criticism flying around lately, I just want to thank
the volunteers and others at Ancestry.com for all the work they have done on
the census records and so many others as well. Kathie, congratulations on a
well written reply to all the complainers and thank you for all your
volunteer work. Without all the work people like you do, people like me
would never find anything!
Thanks to the work done on all the census records, my husband, who has
been trying to find some record for years (including going to Oklahoma where
he knew they had lived) to show that his family in Oklahoma were actually
born and raised here on earth, was finally able to find them this month on
the census records at Ancestry.com. He's been very excited because he found
not just one branch, but three and has been able to follow them through
places he didn't even know they lived.
Some of us have to rely on what we can find on line, and thanks to you we can
do just that. It takes a little digging sometimes, but isn't that what
research is all about and when you finally make the right connection that
makes the reward for all that digging so much sweeter.
Take care and a great day to all,
Janice Moore
