Subject: [ROOTS-L] 1684 ORIGINAL DEEDS/PATENTS IN PENNSYLVANIA

Fellow Rooters,
Please, Is there anyone, who would be able to tell me where a person
might look to request original land records, if extant, that were
filed in PA in 1684. Would they be located in Archives, Land Records
Dept. or in Historical Societies.?? I realize they would be very
cherished by historians, but I am hoping to get perhaps a photo copy, if
locatable, to compare signatures on the documents with my old
grandfather's signature. This, I believe is the link that will either
spur me on in my search for his elusive parents or turn me in another
direction.
Any and all advise will be greatly appreciated.
