I disagree with this. The library needs to serve all patrons. Most buy
sports magazines and music, etc. And if she is a good librarian and is
prudent she should know how it is growing. The patrons need to talk to
merchants in area about this. Not many go to distant places to read sports or
music. Many people go to the area that their family comes from to research.
Even in small towns, and these same people eat and pay for a motel while
there. It is good economy as well as serving their patrons to have
genealogy.
