Subject: [ROOTS-L] Religious Preferance
Date: Wed, 9 Oct 2002 19:56:42 -0700 (PDT)
Hello Rooters,
I was wondering if there was a preference among
Protestant Irish Immigrants as far as religion when
they immigrated to this country. The reason I ask is
because I've found out my family was originally
Catholic, but Protestant instead. I need to start
looking into some Protestant Churches but there are a
vast majority to choose from. I'm hoping someone can
shed some light on this for me. I'm focusing on the
years between say 1800 to 1900.
