At the Historical Society in Pawhuska Oklahoma, I saw a display of old valentines from the late 1800's. This one in particular had an attractive woman with a Gibson girl
hairdo and a long pink dress. The message was:

To My Valentine - Pauline Pry
You certainly gather a lot of news
But not in a way decent people would choose
The title of Sneaking Key-hole Spy
Is an "honor" for which not many would sigh.
