I am doing a research project and I am interested in finding any living
members to the Amanda Hayden family that lived in Bureau County, Princeton,
IL area. This is the obituary information I have on Amanda Hayden.

Mrs. Amanda Hayden is taken by death. Mrs. Amanda Hayden 87, Bureau's
oldest citizen died April 4th at the late home. She was the daughter of Mr.
And Mrs. Joseph Cook and was born February 17, 1858 in Rowan County, KY.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G.A. Potter and Miss Mary Hayden,
both of Bureau, with who she made her home; two sons, James Burden, Wyanet,
and Leonard Burden, De Pue; one sister, Mrs. T.S. Kissick, Salt Lick, KY and
seven grand children.

I was wondering if Amanda/Mary/Mattie Hayden owned a restaurant, saloon,
etc. in the Princeton area in the early 1900's. I was hoping that any
living member of the family would be able to answer my question.
