Subject: [ROOTS-L] Delaware song, maybe?

I learned it as a song, wish I could relay the melody to you. Here are the
words as my Dad used to sing them:
Where do you work-a, John?
"At the Delaware Lack-a-mon"
What do you do-a, John?
"I push, I push, I push"
What do you push-a, John?
"I push, I push-a da broom"
Where do you push the broom?
"At the Delaware Lack-a-mon,
a-mon,
At the Delaware Lack-a-mon"
I, too, live in Delaware but have no idea what the "Delaware Lack-a-mon"
is, do you?
