Could someone do a lookup for me please? Census, marriage, obituary, or
anything concerning him. Grover Cleveland BERRY, known as 'Buck'. Born
11/7/1888,Caldwell co., died 3/20/1925 in K.C. area. He is said to have
spent time in Penitentiary for cutting ear off of black man because of
comment made about lady that Buck was with, said to have happened in the
'bottoms' of K.C. He is also said to have been married to a 'Goldie' (no
last name) and to have had children. His body is supposed to have been found
in a room, or house, in the K.C. area, possibly dead of poison. He was my
Great Uncle, and pretty much a mystery to every one. He also spent
considerable time in both Oklahoma and Wyoming.
I know this is quite a lot of mixed information, but I thought that the
more I posted, the more likely that someone would run across something. I
would think that if his body truly was 'found', that there should be
something in the paper about it.
I have quite a bit of information on a lot of this Berry family, and am
willing to share with anyone that is related. Any help at all would be very
appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
Pat, in Oregon
