tree you can order a copy of their obit.)

Try to figure out where your ancestor's chuch was, then try to find the
Conference that serves that area. Many Conferences have their own
website; see links at www.umc.org If this is to confusing, ask a local
UM Church pastor or historian to help you.

The Conference has records of the existing Churches, and contact
information. Some Conference records will be in the Conference
archives; but much of the information you will want is in the local
Church archives (IF it has survived).

Also, try a search at www.google.com (Valentine is grinning).
