Phil-

The WorldConnect living filters will most likely pick this one up as being
deceased provided that there is enough information in the file for the
filters to determine the status. For instance, if you selected 1903 as your
cut-off year on the Set-up page (by "cut-off" year I mean the point at which
you want the living cleaned or removed from your file--those born after that
year will be considered living) and you have a birth year of 1803 for this
entry, WorldConnect's living filters will show this person's information in
full--because he was born before the cut-off date.

If the birth field is blank and the death field is blank the living filters
will attempt to establish an estimated year of birth based on other
information in the file--perhaps the person's marriage date or his sibblings'
birth year. If enough information is present, the entry with the 1803 birth
year will properly be recorded and not treated as living (cleaned or removed).
