Hi Listers,
Hope that I am not intruding. Some may not realize that
google.com is a"filtering type" way to search.
If it hasn't been shown, I have put an example search
here. Google actually works as a web crawler picking
up lots of things that other search engines miss. If you
use the quote marks and + sign at the beginning of each
search it will bring back only the exact terms that you
listed. {Without the quote marks and + sign, the terms
show up single-ly, or doubled, and in different order.}
After this initial search which often does find 72,000 sites,
you keep adding a word or few words continually narrowing the searchuntil
you have less than 50-100 sites
to search through. It is NOT necessary to use quote marks or + signs after
the first search. Use lower case
letters that first time, to avoid government and business
listings.
EXAMPLE=
"jennie+jones" results 34612 sites
{at bottom of first page/screen, click on box that says
seach within the search, or something similar to those words}
On this second page type in
teacher results 728 sites
Then type in
1840 results 57 sites
Philadelphia results 4 sites
Hope this helps.
