I am not sure what you are looking for but here is situation #1.

You can put your data in HTML format and then get yourself a web host
so that you can have your own website. I have one that is not primarily for
genealogy but I do have some genealogy data on it. Check it out at:

Situation # 2.
My family would never look at a printout, no matter how pretty, of a
bunch of names and dates,
so I decided to create my genealogy presentations as a "web site on a
CD". That is, I created a
"home page" (actually an HTML file) for each individual that lived long
enought to generate some
data (get married, etc). Each "page" basically contains;
A short intro to the person (birh date, birthplace, etc.)
An audio clip of the person
One or more photos of the person
Scanned images of certificates, diplomas, etc
A list of siblings with clickable links to their "pages"
Parent's names with links to their pages
A list of their offsprings with links to their pages
The name of their spouse(s) with link to thier page
Any other pertinent comments, stories, etc ., about the person.
Since this method is labor intensive, I started out with my immediate
family
and worked outwards and upwards. It is not for the faint hearted but is
really nice. I have entertaining music, colorful backgrounds, etc. in hopes
that if the thing is entertaining enough, some of my family just might
take a
look at my compilation of OUR genealogy.
