Somewhere I read that there is a publication or a map of Ireland that shows where surnames are concentrated.

Does anyone know where the name ADAMS or FITZADAM is concentrated?
It was very surprising to me to learn there are loads of ADAMSes in Ireland, as I
always thought it was an English name. Maybe they are of English heritage, having gone to Ireland when the English conquered the Irish early on?
