Howdy from the south forty--Texas way,
Hope you are weathering whatever!
Lena asked what a gedcom is, how to get it, save it, and send it.
I'll bet a lot of folks would like to see the answer. I know I would.
Have I missed it? I've looked, and yes, dear Valentine, I looked in
the archives. Did I over look the answer? If so, would you point me
to it again.
I am one of those fairly new to this world of mass confusion. I may be
capable in many areas, but am not ashamed to admit I'm a babe on
this machine. When I started, I didn't even know what a URL was. It
is just that difficult for many folks, and they do need the step by step
guidance. Yes, some of us are 'older than dirt', and trying our poor
hearts out anyway. So, a great big thank you dear fellow travelers in
this world of genealogy.
May there be a spring in your step, as spring IS approaching. The
crocuses are digging out, pussy willows are budding, and daffodils
are not far behind. That spells Happy!
A warm hug to all, and thanks for being there,
Imogene Hord, Ward
