yes, she posted such: to a spelt messageboard
HELLO, I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON NELLIE SPELT. SHE IS MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER. I BELIEVE SHE CAME FROM SANDWHICH ENGLAND AND LIVED IN THE LATE 1800'S SHE HAD THIRTEEN CHILDREN, MY GRANDMOTHER WAS I THINK THE 7TH. HER HUSBANDS LAST NAME WAS GARDENER. I BELIEVE HER WAS FROM SANDWHICH ENGLAND ALSO BUT CAME TO PHILADELPHIA PA TO LOOK FOR WORK. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY INFORMATION THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHARE I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. THANK YOU

I would suggest you consider posting to the spelt Mailing list

her name is carol browning....

also try this....
have you posted to the message boards?
GO TO ROOTSWEB.COM
CLICK ON MESSAGE BOARDS
do a search on the known email address and post to each of the messages that are there....

and the lists for the counties that are noted in her posts?
AND ALL THE COUNTIES NOT JUST ONE

> and checked archives for all of the mentioned lists..
GO TO ROOTSWEB.COM for that email address...maybe she posted an old and new addy...
SCROLL TO LEFT COLUMN WHERE IT SAYS INTERACTIVE SEARCH
ENTER IN THE LIST NAME
THEN SUBMIT
THEN ENTER IN YOUR QUERY WORD (the old address or nellie) AND CHECK THE YEAR YOU ARE GOING TO SEARCHING
CLICK SUBMIT..
TO OPEN THE RESULTS CLICK ON FULL..

> do search on her address.
USE THE ADDRESS YOU KNOW OF THE PERSON AS THE QUERY WORD.
> maybe they posted a new address..

> ditto with address on google.com...
GO TO GOOGLE.COM
PUT IN THE ADDRESS THAT YOU KNOW OF Her AND CHECK FOR IT outside of rootsweb.com.
AND WHILE YOU ARE THERE CHECK FOR OTHER THINGS THAT MIGHT HELP IN YOUR OWN
SEARCH NOT JUST FOR LOOKING FOR THIS PERSON..

> and sign
> a guest book at a county in the family residence list which are often
found
> on genweb links or historical society links?
ALSO ON ROOTSWEB.COM
SCROLL TO USGENWEB IN THE RIGHTISH COLUMN,
THEN CLICK ON STATES PROJECTS THEN
CLICK ON STATES LIST
THEN CLICK ON THE STATE OF INTEREST
THEN CLICK ON COUNTY FOR THAT STATE,,,
LOOK TO SEE IF THEY HAVE A GENWEB LIST.
MAKE A POST
THEN SEE IF THEY HAVE A GUESTBOOK AND SIGN IT AND SAY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR
SUCH AND SUCH PEOPLE AS WELL AS THIS ONE SUBMITTOR.

have you looked at the lists of names that are secondary in the chart that
> you saw.
> spelt might not be their primary interest.
tho you might wish it.
SO IF THE carol ALSO HAD GIGGLESNORT AS A SECONDARY SURNAME IN Her CHARTS,
GO TO THAT MAILING LIST..> ETCETCETC

REMEMBER ALL OF THESE THINGS YOU CAN USE IN MANY MANY WAYS IN YOUR
SEARCHING..
