Hi Listers

I am still trying to "tear down that wall" that will
not let me find a birth certificate (or anything) on
my mother-Margaret F. Wholley, and/or a marriage
certificate on her parents Timothy and Catherine
(Minehan) Wholley.

My mother was born in Auburn, ME. 0n 18 Feb. 1883 and
her parents were married on Apr. 1882 in either
Lewiston or Auburn, ME

I have written to Augusta, Auburn etc. over the years
but they come up empty each and every time. The
gparents came from County Cork, Ire.in the 1870's. I
have been repeatedly told that Maine's Vital Stats
only go back to 1892. Any response or tunnel light
will be appreciated. Many thanks.
