Hello, I am looking for information on this family.
Christopher C ( or C. C. As he was listed in one census ) was born about 1825 in New York. Parents are listed in 1850 census as having been born in Vermont.
Christopher C was listed in the 1850 Federal Census for South Hero Township, Grand Isle County, Vermont with His wife and 2 Children.
Nancy was his wife: age 26 born in Ireland
Elsa C. Age 2 Born in New York
John age 1 Born in New York.

According to my gg Grandfather's biographical Sketch, the family moved from Vermont to Clinton County, New York and then to Wisconsin , Followed by the arrival in 1865 to Minnesota. My gg Grandfather was born in Grand Isle County, Vermont on 29 June 1852. There were 7 Children born to Christopher C Smith and Nancy Letson. Their names that I Know of are as follows:
John appears to have been deceased as of 1895
Nancy Smith Alive in 1895
Lelila Smith Alive and married in 1895 to Lyle Cross
Hattie Smith. Alive and Married to a Oakland
Elsa C ( Elsie ) Alive and married to a Chamberlain.

Nancy Letson Smith died in 1880 .

Christopher C Smith died after 1895.

Any Information on this family would be Greatly Appreciated.
