Pam,
You don't say where you have already looked for your TARGETT family.

1) Have you searched the IGI at www.familysearch.org? There are massive
numbers of TARGETTs there, many from Tisbury. You can use the Family History
Library Catalog tab to find the film numbers of the parish registers for
Tisbury, then go to your nearest FHC, order the films and view them there.

2) If you put "albinus target" into Google, you will find that someone has
already done work on this family:

It may not be exactly your line, but they will surely be worth contacting.

3) There is a Roots/Ancestry message board for the surname TARGETT at
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=surnames.targett.

4) RootsWeb has a Wiltshire mailing list (ENG-WILTSHIRE) that you could
consider joining, and you can search the archived messages there:
