Check with your local LDS Family History Center. Most have access to the full Ancestry program. If your Center doesn't have it, have them contact Family History Support in Utah and they will explain how it can be accessed. Then you can have the best of both worlds.

O.K., Here's my 2 cents worth.
Ancestry may need the money to do updates and research, but I need the
money too. They simply cost too much for many of us.
Yes, I used to work for a paycheck, but I don't now . I am partially
disabled and on Social .Security. My pocketbook cannot afford their
rising costs.
When they were no-fee, then one-fee I used Ancestry. No More.
