I need a marriage record circa 1868 from either Shelby or Sangamon Co. Illinois.
in checking the look-ups for those counties, the marriages listed don't go that early. is that just because the early marriages haven't been compiled into a book form, or are there no marriage records prior to 1870 in either of those counties? what about the county between them, which is Christian?
