I need help. I've been looking for information on the parents of Goodin/Goodman/Gurdon Bailey since last summer and have not had any luck. He married Lula Pennington and had 1 child Lisa, then he married Mia Cook and had 10 children, 1. Jim who married Callie Mae Phillips and had 3 children-Hugh Dorsey, Marie and Bootsey; 2. George who married a Jimmy ?? and had 2 children-Herman and Ruby; 3. Oliver "Bud" Bailey d. 1921ish who married Docia Franklin (these are my grandparents) and had 3 children-John Thomas b. 1914, George Robert "Sid" b. 1918 and Charlie "Buddy" Smiley b. 1916; 4. Jack (I guess he didn't marry); 5. John (I guess he didn't marry either); 6. Samuel Lester Bailey who married Ruby Lunsford and had 1 child Bernice, then married Minerva M. Todd and had 6 more children-Dorothy Christine, Mildred, Lester E., Donald, Diane, and Sammy Joe; 7. Kate who married Clemon Everett and had 3 children-Verdie, Clara and Almer; 8. Belle who married John Gibbs and had 1 child-H!
elen; 9.
Annie who married Charlie Hall and had 5 children-Charles Oliver (Dudy), Lula Mae, Myrtle Hattie, Ruth and LaVader; 10. Minnie Bailey who married Perry Franklin and had 4 children-James, Opal Jewel, Hazel "Dempsey" and Robert Eugene "Gene". If anyone could help me with this. All were born in Georgia near Eldorendo and Bainbridge I think and mostly live or lived in Georgia and Florida (Tallahassee and Orlando areas).Goodin must have been born around 1870-1880 I think. Maybe even the 1860's. His parents should have been born anywhere from 1830-1870ish I would think. Thanks in advance for your time.

Robert "Bobby" Earl Bailey, Sr.
