There are people who have done that, but I think the preponderance of opinion is *don't*! It is reallllly
permanent, and I've seen some pretty ugly, yellowed papers that someone laminated years ago.
The usual recommendation is to put them in archival quality sheet protectors, put them in a book or box,
and keep them out of the light.
There are ways to "reverse" the yellowing of newspaper paper, or at least slow it down.
