Here's what I sent Bill earlier.
I my C directory is a file called PICTURES. Under PICTURES are individual
folders for each SURNAME. Under those folders are folders for DEEDS, WILLS,
CENSUS, MILITARY... So a file named, C:/PICTURES/DOE/WILL/John.jpg would be
a will image for John Doe. Its very easy to follow and if a cousin wants my
images, I can just copy all that surname images.
Also if you'd just like to get those papers organized, I started an
organizational checklist for each month on my website below. Scroll down to
August (no matter when you start, August is the month to start with).
Hopefully I will be adding to them this year. Not the most organized
either, so I got distracted. <G> But most of what you need to build upon is
there, you just have to continue it out each month after that.
