You can get information about ordering Maryland vital records at...

At the bottom of that webpage if you click on the type of certificate
you are looking for (birth, death, etc) it will tell you who is
eligible to obtain a copy of that type of certificate. Like many
states, Maryland has restrictions on the availability of vital records.
Also, Maryland does have some (mostly older) death indexes online.
