I do the same as Jerry. I send information to people writing to me
about what I have online, but usually I do not send everything in the first
email, and try to establish some sort of back and forth communication and
data sharing. If no response is forthcoming, I usually have patience to
wait before sending anything else.

I do think generally we do people a favor by letting them know this is
a hobby of sharing and helping to teach them to find information for
themselves where possible. We also should be asking for sources of where
information shared come from as well as providing it ourselves. We can all
become better researchers in the process.
