Subject: [ROOTS-L] Suggestions for finding Census information?

Hi all,

I have several relatives, who I can find in one Census, but I can't
find them before or after that time. I'm currently working on Henry
Campbell Moody, born 1886/1887 in Texas and died on 16 Jan 1924. I
found him mentioned in the 1920 Census in Hugo Ward 1, Choctaw, OK.
He didn't have any children yet, but was married.

I've never been able to find a previous census record of him, I found
one that was a possibility but his parents names aren't correct,
though age and year of birth are about right. I know (or think I
know) the names of his parents, but have never been able to find them
in a census that list him as a son, so I can't prove its the correct
one.

The names I have for his parents are: Richard Dowden Moody and Carrie
L. Campbell. I have no other information about them.

Any suggestions on where I might try looking?
