Hello group As I start my twentieth year of family research I start to
wonder why my ggg grandparents moved around so much , Have you found
yours did to ? , Why was this ?
my ggg-gandparent ( James and Mary Lenox of county Derry Ireland landed
in New York { city state is uncertain } in Aug. of 1820 , I find them in
Rome N Y in 1830 , then Guernesy Co Ohio in 1840 , then in Ross Co Ohio in
1850 , , Where it says the children are born thusly New york ( 1822 )
Massuchusetts (1824 )(1830) , New York (1832) , Penns(1833) , Penns(1840 )
. but its really Ohio
Is it because the rent was due ? , the grass is greener in the next
county ?
