I discovered a "new" BUCK family I have not seen before. Searching a
WADSWORTH genealogy yesterday I found Sidney WADSWORTH (1786-1845) of
Farmington, Hartford Co., CT married Clarissa BUCK about 1812.

It appears Clarissa BUCK "might possibly" be the daughter of Isaac BUCK
and Prudence DEMING. The will of her brother Josiah DEMING identifies
Prudence as Prudence BUCK but does not give the husband's first name so I
first need to establish there was a couple made up of Isaac Buck and
Prudence Deming.

Prudence DEMING was born 30 Jan 1783 in Wethersfield, CT to Elisha
DEMING and Elizabeth WILLIAMS.

Does anyone have knowledge of these families? I have searched the
WorldConnect and IGI databases for clues in addition to several volumes of
the Barbour Collection and some CT town histories without success in
identifying a marriage and the parents of her husband. They likely were
living in Wethersfield, CT.
