I strongly believe that it is wrong to post any information at all about a
living person. My husband had a relative that took it upon herself to submit
the extended family genealogy she obtained at a family reunion to the
Internet. We had a horrible experience with a stalker and this woman had given away
a lot of personal information, including the names and dates for our then
young children. Harm can be done, however unintentionally, when one does not
respect the privacy of others. Heaven knows, we have little enough privacy
left as it is.
I love using sharing genealogy, and using the Internet as much as anyone,
but please, folks, do not post anything about another person without their
permission.
