I have been searching for the parents of Daid O Ford for many years. I am sure that they came from Va. but no proof. David O. is my ggg grandfather. David O. Ford first shows up in Ky where he marries Cathrine Borders. They later moved to Indiana where he must have had a hard time making a living, as there is some reference to the county poor house In southern indiana.
He was born abt 1807 in Va. and died abt 1872 in Indiana. After David's death, his wife Cathrine Borders Ford married her son's father-in-law, Iaasac Vorheese
David and Cathrine had seven children, the youngest Lemuel Ford is my gg grandfather.
I have tried census, land deeds and any other resourse that I can find.
Any more suggestions?
