Most of the data such as census archives, state and court data concerning the people that Ancestrry puts out already belongs to the people. It can be had without going thru Ancestry. Ancestry has transcribed thes records and some times not accurate and has made it more convient for the people to obtain this data.Don't know what their cost is but their profit picture is high.Too when one buys a transcription it may be a pig in a poke. Big money for nothing.
Just in case some folks don't know all this data that Ancestry has can be found at your library thru their computers if they have Ancestry Library Edition.
