I'd want ALL sides of the story and ALL of the facts before jumping to any
conclusions and jumping on any bandwagons. Companies that are subscription or
pay services and also offer free data have every right to want the users of
that free data to enter their website from a predetermined entrypoint and
navigate to the data. Many websites do not allow someone to "deep link"
directly to search results that only list the free data and bypass the normal
navigation of the site--and that position has long been established in law.
