I have to assume the below was in reply to my question of yesterday.

Thank you for your offer to help but "Pat in Tucson" sent me the page from
Heritage Quest that I was asking about. It was much appreciated.

Actually it had nothing to do with the Census Taker's writing.......the page
on Ancestry was so faded and faint that I could not read it.

While it was not perfect I could at least read about 90% of the items that I
needed.

I am currently indexing the 1900 census and pick Iowa's most of the time. I
have done some from Linn Co., too. They will be on familysearch.org
sometime
in the future. Some names are unreadable, while enlarging them makes them
clearer. The census takers were not always legible writers nor great
spellers.
We are at their mercy. Two people do the same work and a third, an
arbitrator,
checks the discrepancies between the two, so the work is carefully checked.
However, there will still be errors. Please send me the link and I'll look
it
over for you. I've done this work for almost twenty years. Jean
