Could there have been raised by a step parent. My husband's great
grandfather's father George Washington Snider died when he was a couple of months old
in 1844. His mother remarried a Ruberson in 1848. We always knew him as a
Snider, but could not find him on one census. And, later found he had been
listed as a Ruberson.
