After doing genealogy by snail mail or in libraries etc. for over 25 years I have found what Ancestry has provided me with in the comfort of my home, a bargain!
If you think of gas, wear and tear on car, trips by plane,postage and trips to Post Office--carrying everything with you and paying for "copies" or handwriting it yourself---------I will pay the price for Ancestry.
They have info I would never find otherwise.
I have been connected with distant cousins and relatives I would never have been able to know about otherwise.
Before complaining think of the alternatives and then make your decision!
