Christine

Rain, wind, and weather aside, I've known people to leave 35mm film
containers at gravesites. I've never found one <sad> but it's an idea.

But, in addition, I'd go to the library, and/or historical society in the
nearest town(s). Many of them have "vertical files" -- file folders -- with
families' information. Several times I've found notes in these from other
"cousins" in the area, or passing through. You could leave a note there.

Are these towns in Utah? If so, I'd also be going to the LDS Family History
Centers to see "who knows what." Those volunteers are treasure troves of
information.

Good luck,

Pat (in Tucson)

Trying to be more practical, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions
for leaving a message in a cemetery to locate possible relatives? <<<
