I agree 100% with Ema. I've only been on this list for less than two
years and it irritates me to no end when someone pipes in that they're
done with the thread topic and it should be dropped. Only
administrators of the list have that right. If you don't like the
reply or the thread, delete it and move on. It only takes a second or
two to scan an e-mail and decide if you want to read it. I should know
as I use to go through over two hundred e-mails each day from various
groups. As long as something is on topic and it pertains to family
research, it belongs on this list. I for one found the entire
discussion on reading tombstone inscriptions enlightening. Not all of
us are "experts" on every aspect of genealogy.
