I also got lucky. My fathers grandmother and 3 of his sisters keep his
letters home from WWII. And I have them. I have scanned them to share and will
start transcribing them soon. I am very thankful that they did that. My father
has passed away now and these give an insight into his life during the war.
There are of course some of them missing, either from the censors or downed
planes. My Mom also keep my brothers letters from Viet Nam. Again a great
genealogical find.

So all of us pack rats unite and keep our treasures. Someday our decedents
will thank us.
