Hi, John-

I was waiting for this Y DNA Jefferson information to come up in this
thread. <g> When this was discovered it was thought to be rather odd/rare that
Jefferson's male kin were K2. Since the information you posted, further research
was done by the people in England connected to the TV show "Who Do You Think
You Are?" and they located a few other men in Scotland with the surname
Jefferson who also are in the K2 haplogroup. The speculation is that this
represents an early migration into Scotland of an ancestor of this haplogroup.
