My grandparents lived in Dickson, TN and purchased some land from my grandmothers father back in the 1920's or the very early 1930's. I have been trying to find any information at all on this transaction but with no luck. All I know is that the land is now on what is called the Will Bell Road. I am not sure if it is Hickman County or Dickson County.
My grandparents were William Paris Bell and Willie Mathes (Redden) Bell. My grandfather could not write so it may have been in my grandmothers name.
They themselves sold this land probably in the late 60's or 70's and bought land over on Pomona Road in Dickson, TN.
I am tying to fix up a book concerning them for my family and I would like to know how much they paid for the land, how much land they purchased, from who, when, etc. As or right now I have nothing!
Can anyone help, it would be very appreciated.
