Hi all,

While I'm no expert, usually the moving-shimmying-flashing type ads you see
on the sites are mostly Flash or Java based. If they are Flash based, you
can try Flashblock. That replaces the ads with static content. If it's
java, you can always disable java in the browser, but that might affect
(effect?) some other sites you visit on a daily basis. Another program that
might work is Adblock.

I just did some basic testing of Flashblock and it seemed to work really
well on my Firefox browser. I'm not sure if you use another browser if it
will work on it or not and as always, your pc might act differently....

Just a thought.....

Hello to the list. Flashing ads annoy me so much I cover that part of
the screen with a piece of paper, and vow to avoid that advertiser.
I'm fortunate that it's only annoyance, not seizures.

Not unless they get a number of complaints. Here's mine. Cheers, Dolly

If you would prefer digest mode to mail mode, drop a note to
