The Julia Jackson Chapter #141 United Daughters of the Confederacy cordially invites you to the Oakwood Cemetery Ceremony, 701 Grand Ave, Fort Worth honoring Confederate Soldiers buried there with Military Service Awards and Special Recognition and honoring Jefferson Davis's birthday, Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11 am at the Confederate Soldier.

Area UDC, C of C, SVC, OCR, MOSB, Confederate Gray, Re-enactors, family and friends are invited to participate. Inviting cannons, flag corp., firing volley, taps, musicians, and re-enactors in period time.

Directions: From I-35 West, take the Yucca, Long Drive exit and head west. Turn left on North Main St. and make a quick right onto Grand Avenue. Follow Grand avenue down to the Main Gate on the left. Meet at the Confederate Solider located in the Southeast part of the cemetery.

>From Jacksboro Hwy, turn east onto West Northside Drive and turn right onto Grand Avenue. Follow Grand Avenue down to the Main Gate on the right. Meet at the Confederate Solider in the Southeast part of the cemetery.
